Picked up a Model 18 "no dash"
By chance I stopped by the LGS a couple of months ago and found a Model 18 "no dash" 4-screw that dates to 1958. So, I exchanged some cash with them and took it home. It has some slight holster wear on the barrel tip but the action and "mechanics" are excellent. Shoots very accurately. It will be a great mate to my Model 17-3. Walrus bone knife is by The Dancing Man in Homer, AK.

I own a similar one, built after the upper sideplate screw was dropped and before they were stamped with a model number. It is one of my favorite revolvers.

You can't go wrong with an 18, great shooting revolvers. I have an 18-3, ci. 1975.
