Default Almost a birthday gun!

My friend LPD256 got a ship date from Dr. Jinks on this Mod. 28 no dash of October 1958. So I sent him a pm letting him know that he had the right month but was a year early for my birthday, 10/30/1959, and I would be interested in the gun if he ever wanted to sell it. So after a few texts and a phone call this gorgeous Highway Patrolman now resides with me. Close enough to a birthday gun for me!
Thanks Jim!
The holster is an S.D. Myres Threepersons

The Highway Patrolman was love at first sight for me and the first Smith & Wesson I ever owned. Not much has changed, I still get excited when I see "The Work Horse of the Smith & Wesson Stable". Beautiful example OP!
