I've posted a couple of times in the past few days about a gun I inherited from my Dad. Hoping you all will bare with me for one more.
The gun is a 1903 .32 Hand Ejector built in 1909 or 10. It has M.O.P. grips which are not original to the gun. I don't know if they were installed by a dealer or a previous owner.
My Dad got the gun from my uncle who had scratched his initials inside one of the panels. Since it's a 'family gun', I would hate to have anything happen to those grips.
Several forum members went out of their way about a week ago to help me make my Dad's gun shootable. Now that it is, I intend to do just that.
My question is, does anyone make reproduction grips for this model gun I could install when I take the gun out to shoot? I saw some on the Midway site but several customer reviews said they are too small to fit the gun.
I'll keep my eye on eBay for the original but actually, reproductions, regardless of condition, would suit me just fine.
The gun may not be that valuable but it certainly is too me!
Thanks! After this post, I promise to be quiet for a while!!
