Default My 10-5 eligible for AARP!

Just in recently, 1966 10-5 C8 serial number.

I had forgotten what a sizeable gun these are, beautiful shiny blue, just enough wear and a few bumps in the grips to be a great shooter and not a closet queen.

2.2 lbs loaded, you would know you were carrying it!

Enjoy.

Nice pistol. Those 10-5’s are the quintessential S&W general purpose revolver. AARP is virulently anti-gun, so don’t expect an application letter . . .

Yes, the fit and finish on these are spot on, someone cared.

Yes, I thought about the anti gun angle, but said in jest.

Is AARP handing out grants so we can buy these up to keep them off the streets?

Welcome from the Commonwealth of Virginia.
There's just something about the model 10 that says take me home with you.

Probably when S&W was at it's height 1966 when that Model 10 was mfg nice shooter. As for AARP another outfit the lefties took over, could care less about discounts wouldn't join if my life depended on it and it doesn't, need them like a hole in the head.

As luck would have it, I bought a 10-5 similar to that one (4" barrel, but round butt) just today at a LGS...The only drawback is it has a pair of old nasty Pachmayrs on it...Now I have to find an appropriate pair of S&W walnuts to adorn it......Ben

I dropped them like a hot potato when they fervently endorsed obamacare.

Love the model 10's!!

Your 10-5 is also a C&R revolver.

As far as AARP is concerned, guns are a NO-NO! I guess they figure Seniors shouldn't defend themselves???
