Default 1903 - 4th Change Hand Ejector??

I've been trying find a set of grip panels to fit my 1903 Hand Ejector - 4th Change built in 1909.

I've ordered a pair on line but had to return them when they proved to be too small.

Hoping someone here might own the identical gun. If so, would you mind posting a picture or two of your gun so I have a visual reference for the correct grips?

Of if you happen to know the correct description of the Frame Size of a 1903 Hand Ejector, that would be helpful also. I thought it was the "I" frame, but I now wonder if that is correct? Grips advertised on eBay as a fit for that frame do not look like they would fit my revolver. Possibly they are being incorrectly identified by the sellers?

Thanks for your help!!

This one shipped in March, 1916, and wears its original stocks. I hope this helps.

Are you certain it is a .32 Long? If it shoots the .32 WCF (.32 Winchester or .32-20) the stocks would be too small because that model was a K frame.

There are several sizes of hard rubber stocks out there, but there was one frame size that was used on several models since 1880. Stocks from 38 Single Action, 38 Double Action, 32 Hand Ejector, 38 Perfected, and 38 Safety all used the same size stocks. Problem is that there are lots of sellers out there that do not know what their stocks fit for sure. I am supplying a couple images to show how to decide what you should buy when looking for S&W stocks. The stock heights are measured with the base sitting on a flat surface and measured vertically to the top.

Last comment is that all stocks were hand fitted to the frame during manufacture, so some frames might be slightly smaller or larger than others and stocks can vary in size.

Yup. Barrel is marked ".32 Long CTG" and I've been shooting S&W .32 Long rounds in it.

Thanks for the photo!!
