Default Model 28 question

SCSW indicates (IF I read it correctly) that all the 28 guns had either an S or an N serial number prefix. Is that your understanding too?

Thanks.

Yes, up until 1968 (I think) S and N after that until discontinued in 1986ish.

Not to put too fine a point on it but
From its introduction in 1954 until model numbers were assigned in 1957, the Highway Patrolman ("Pre-28") had S-Prefix serial numbers too.

Ok, have it figured out now with the correct serial number.

This one is from 1955…. Which also makes me realize I’ve got this in the wrong section. Sorry.

And thanks for your help.
