Default Price Check on Isle One, Model of 1905 Target

This 4th change with Wells Fargo provenance was not offered to me but was brought by for valuation. The S&W letter and other documents added value, but the well used but original revolver had some pretty good scratches on the side plate, probably from a holster, and that was a distraction. My friend snagged it for less than I thought was a good price. Also saw a very nice Colt 1917, but I passed on it, All the other really nice stuff was brought in just to show off. Otherwise this show was a bust.

We'd love to see some photos of the 1905 Target. They are great guns and even well used have classic lines and are additive to any collection of Smiths. As for a price check, 13 years ago, I picked up this one from a fellow forum member for $400 (with FFL transfer fees and delivery) and think today it would probably be $500-$550 delivered. For reference, it left the factory 100 years ago this last July.

What is the age, what is the percent finish, what is the configuration, what stocks, etc.? Without an image or any details about the gun who knows what it is worth.

. . . and what is "less than I thought was a good price."?
