If you have any interest in military handguns you need Charlie Pate's book on the Secondary Handguns of WWII. Also, if you can find a copy I would suggest Henwood's book, America's Right Arm.

Maybe it's on the shelf and I can't see it but another excellent little book is, My Life Journey with Smith & Wesson by Dwayne W. Charron.

As you have aleady read, there seems to be no end to books about S&W. Standards like Roper - McHenry, Parsons, Neal & Jinks can be supplimented by over a dozen others. There is another early 1953 book titled Smith & Wesson The Story of the Revolver by Martin Rywell. D.B wrote another book, Burning Powder in 1932, and the list keeps going. Let us not forget Bill Cross & Roy Jinks fine book the Smith & Wesson 44 Magnum. Also, Artistry in Arms by Roy in 1991 and his book 125 Years with Smith & Wesson, 1977.

I thought I was done several times but found more S&W books I needed. I have been trying to find an affordable copy of America's Right Arm by John Henwood for some time.

Ha! I knew there had to be more! Some of the suggestions are already there but hard to make out in the pic. Here's the actual list (so far):

Smith & Wesson Hand Guns McHenry & Roper
Smith & Wesson 100 Years of Gunmaking Hellstrom
Smith & Wesson 1952 Centennial Catalog
Smith Wesson the story of the revolver Rywell
Smith & Wesson Revolvers, the pioneer single action models Parsons
Smith & Wesson 1857 - 1945 Jinks, Neal
History of Smith & Wesson Jinks
Smith & Wesson Revolvers: a Shop Manual, 5th Edition Kuhnhausen
Smith & Wesson Twelve Revolvers Jinks
Artistry in arms: The guns of Smith & Wesson Jinks
Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson, 2nd Ed. Supica & Nahas
Smith & Wesson Sixguns of the Old West Chicoine
Smith & Wesson, Images of America Jinks
Smith & Wesson American Model: in U.S. and Foreign Service Pate
Smith and Wesson Revolvers Assembly, Disassembly Manual Skennerton
Volcanic Firearms; Predecessor to the Winchester Rifle Lewis
Magnum: The S&W .357 Magnum Phenomenon Vol. 1 Mullin
Smith & Wesson K-Frame Revolver Vol. II Mullin
Serious Smith & Wessons, The N- and X-Frame Revolvers Vol. III Mullin
Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson, 4th Ed. Supica & Nahas
Smith & Wesson Engraving Kennelly
Smith & Wesson 44 Magnum Cross, Jinks

There are currently 5 copies of the Henwood book available, but they're running from $250 to $300, and he's massively quoted (with permission) in Mullin's K-frame book.

But now I have other fresh meat to chase down.

Thanks, all!
