Default S&W N frame 1917 grips vs hand ejector is that correct

So what I have is S&W 1917 late 1918 chambered in 45 acp

Local Fun/gun show find bought these only to find out they to small ...
My question is early hand ejector pre S&W logo?
FYI ~ they are mismatched one is perfect other is lightly used
I know they are N frame decent match just don't fit...

Lightly used
sold them and bought repro's

Look like 1920s K frame grips to me. The left grip may be dished; hard to tell. If so, it could be pre 1910.

These are K frames. Look for 1917 grips. I found a set of Sile 1917 grips and replaced the sile medallion with a Smith. Think they came from GPC. This is before I replaced the medallion. They need to be distressed. Or there’s an original looking pair on fleabay for 270.00.

You need the smooth N frame (uncheckered and no medallion) for the 1917. Not hard to find at reasonable prices. Good luck.
