Here's the Range Report: I'm pleased to "report" that the perfect "range" to "shoot" photos of this gun is with a camera somewhere between 6" and 18" away from the "grouping" of the gun and its accessories.  If I want to throw lead down the barrel of a long-tube Pre-27, this is the one that goes to the range with me:

Mighty impressive shooting!!!  Not only a great group, BUT a great group that's RIGHT ON CENTER.  I'm not sure that I could get that nice a group with a hole punch and a yellow stickie.
