Maybe this will help-------just maybe.

What's the first thing we think of when we see +P?

HOT LOAD!!

What are some of the things we think of next?

You can answer that for yourself, but let me suggest a couple of really simple things to think of next----just a couple:

Compared to what?

Compared to what when?

Here's an extra one: What do lawyers do for a living? They see to it we toe the line-----any line----all lines.

One more----kind'a related to the last one: Can you think of, even imagine any ammunition company being run by folks who are so brain dead stupid that they're going to deliberately put out a load that will damage ANY gun ever made?

If your answer to that one is yes, you're about to be set for life!! ----along with your children and their childrens' childrens' children's children----and their dogs and their cats.

Step One: Prove it.

Step Two: Call a lawyer.

Good Hunting!!

The difference?

38 Special = 17,000 psi maximum pressure
38 Special +P = 20,000 psi maximum pressure

Odds are, unless using boutique ammo like Buffalo Bore, the actual pressures will be less than SAAMI maximum.
