What do you want to know? The guns a K frame, alloy frame, steel barrels & cylinders, 38 Specials, checkered walnut grips. They are basically the same as the US Airforce Aircrewman revolvers, with slightly different holster rigs.Serial numbers are in the C448XXX range. Swedish markings are three small crowns stamped on the frame.

Ah, but the Swedes had steel cylinders! Smart move, maybe from having learned from USAF experience.

Qball, Thanks for the great post on Swedish handguns. The Model 12 Swedish Airforce guns are fairly common here in the US, so I'm assuming they must have been declared surplus to Swedish military needs and sold to US surplus gun importers. Does that assumption match your information? Ed.

Unfortunatly i don't realy know what happend to the m58 revolver.
But knowing the swedish goverment i'm guessing that they gave them away to buyers overseas
just so that the swedish populations couldn't have them.

That's an excellent site. Very informative. I was interested to see the Swedes issue the Bianchi M-12 holster for their Glocks.

Howdy , here are two pictures of what I now know to be a Swedish Air force shoulder holster for a S&W model 12 , there are two strap coiled in one of the pictures, one goes over the shoulder the other across the chest . When I bought this holster I was told it was A colt Cobra that several hundred were sold to the Swedish Air Force. This explains why it was a shock on the Colt Forum .A very neat combat holster , I wear sometimes when I mow the lawn, robbt
