Its been awhile since I've done anything with revolvers. This one caught my eye and I had the grips for it.
Dates to 1953 with fantastic blueing and case hardening on the hammer and trigger. The hammer is the wide target style, just what I like.

now I have to load up some 38's to plink with.

Nice gun! I really like those grips. I can see why you had to find a gun for them.

N FRAME,,, How is it you just could not leave that 15 alone? K frame is, well Smaller.
I had the same issue when it popped up at my favorite shop, A K 38 with the fishy hammer, But they are tons of fun!
You did the right thing buying it so it could be better dressed!!!
Here is the K 38 I just found.

Peter
.
.

N FRAME I just looked and mine is also from 1953
Ser # 2200**
There are different hammers on these two, I wonder what else is different?

I don't know, ammo is pretty hard to find right now. I have a good stockpile of 38s right now. You should just ship that my way and I'll take good care of it and feed it well.

I have one just like it in great shape. It is from 1950, (Birth year gun). It was a great buy. I found it in a local shop a couple of years ago $225 OTD.
