Default MODEL OF 1950 PRE 22

Came across a very clean 5 screw pre 22. The seller is asking $950. Is this a good price ? I have been out of the game for a while and am not current on prices.

Looks good to me, can't tell if it is original finish but it looks "fuzzy" enough in the pictures that perhaps it is not original. You can probably tell if you have it in hand. In any case, I'd probably buy it at that price even if I thought it was refinished. Don't think I've ever seen one for sale; when will you see another? Bought a pre-21 that I knew for sure was refinished not long ago for nearly that amount. If you're telling us the Heiser holster came with it as part of the price, even better. maybe $100-$200 just for the holster. Enjoy.

There were more of the Army Model 1950, 45 ACP revolvers built than the Target Model 1950. But not very many of either! I hope that your sharing images means you grabbed it. They are great revolvers and perhaps the ultimate improvement on the Model 1917!

Here is an image of mine,

Kevin

Does not appear to be refinished, my photography skills are somewhat lacking. After I bought the gun the owner said, by the way it comes with this, and produced the Heiser holster
