just trying to figure out what I have
I have had this revolver for at least 10 years maybe more and I thought it was a model 34. A friend told me he thought it was older than the 34 for Im asking you guys.
Its a 6 shot 22 with a 2 inch barrel, serial number on the butt and on the cylinder face 101xx.
no model number on the yoke just an assembly number. /i got it with a leather holster for 150 dollars and its in 80-85 percent condition

It sounds to be an early .22/32 Kit Gun, about 3-4 years before it was also named the model 34 (1955?). Does it have four sideplate screws (one might be hidden under the right stock panel)?

I would guess about $600 depending on its exact condition.

Welcome to the forum!!! I got your one image to show. It looks like a fun kit gun 22/32. We would love to see some more photos.
This one is about the same vintage as your SN 10131:
... it is SN 9757 and shipped in December 1954.

Snub 22/32 kit guns are quite desirable. I’d say $600 might be on the conservative side especially considering a pre- mod 34.

You have a ".22/32 Kit Gun Model of 1953 built on the New 'I' Frame".
Built in the first or 2nd quarter of 1955. It became designated the Model 34 in mid 1957. And was changed to be built on the J frame in Oct 1960.
S&W called it a .22/32 because it was built on the .32 caliber frame but chambered for .22 cartridges.
Called a Kit Gun because it was small enough to easily fit in a fishing or hunting kit. It was only made with adjustable sights. Introduced in 1935.
$600 is in the ball park for it's value in what looks like pretty good condition. They can go for as high as $900; more with box, tools and paperwork.

Based on what little we can see in the photo, it appears to be in higher condition than your estimate. In the actual 80-85% range, that would mean it had lost 15-20% of its original finish. I'm not seeing that, but then, we can't see enough of it to say for sure.
