I came across a great Elmer Keith article concerning the development of the .44 Magnum cartridge and handgun. It was fascinating reading, and I've posted the link below. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

I visited Salmon Idaho, just a few years too late. Sure would have been great to sit around and listen to his stories. Thanks for posting.

I visited Salmon Idaho about a year before his death.
I'd like to have met him, but at the time I didn't even know who he was!

Thanks for posting. Fun article to read. I'll bet a great deal more fun to be out with Elmer shooting holes in engine blocks, car doors, used appliances, etc.
