Earliest Commercial Shipment, Post Armistice
I don't recall this question being asked so, I ask now:
With the understanding that commercial production ceased during the Great War, what is the earliest known documented commercial shipment, after November 11, 1918?*
I'm certain I won't "win" the contest, but I'll throw this into the ring...
.38 Regulation Police, SN 6093, Shipped April 1919
Your turn. Whatcha' got?
*Thanks murphydog and opoefc for fine tuning my query.
-Bill

Here’s mine, shipped 13 March 1919. .22 Single Shot Perfected Third Model pistol. More than 4 months since the Armistice, so nowhere close to what you are looking for, but closer to that date than the OPs.
Edit: Note the lack of a S & W logo, which was routine during this time frame.

In reality, there are probably commercial Smith & Wessons out there that shipped on December 12, 1918. Sales did not totally end during the war and several 38 M&P revolvers target were sold in 1917 and 1918, most likely from old inventory. SWCA database also shows that several N frame Targets were sold during the war. May have been military rejects which were re-worked and sold on the commercial market during the war. One, 9K serial number, shipped in December 1917, and nine 44 Targets were all shipped in January 1918 in the 14K range to various distributors show up in the database.
I have a couple that bracket the war effort and show some abnormalities in the factory during this era, with one 38 Target that shipped in April, 1919 with a serial number in the 121K range, meaning it was manufactured prior to 1910 (top photo). I also have another 38 Target in the 281K range that shipped in August 1917 (bottom photo).
