Default Early Highway Patrolman

Found this puppy on the Internet and although very expensive, I decided this was what I wanted. Sorry, no pics. #S127112.
5 screw, 4", Highway Patrolman, shipped 3-1956. Standard revolver in just about mint condition. All numbers match.
Anyone know where I can find a 1956 vintage box? Big Larry

Often you will able to find some of the old blue S&W boxes on Ebay, although it may not be for your exact model. I have a model 28 that I recently acquired; would like to see pictures of yours.

Here's my 1st year H.P. Ser# S111183. Diamond Targets courtesy of Joe C.

I wish it had the numbered magnas but came with a perfect set of non-diamond "football" targets. Joe C. to the rescue.

I had my Curt Harlow revived "Cokes" on it but decided to save those for an as-yet-to-be-obtained revolver

Charlie699, nice gun. Are your target grips non relievd? Numbered to the gun?
I have a 4" with non relieved targets numbered to the gun with a serial # not too far behind yours. I believe it would be 1st. Yr. They are very nice revolvers and I like them as much as the pre 27.

Enjoy
