I was going back through the some of the forgotten corners of the safe and was hoping the experts can help out.
One of the first k-22s I bought some 20+ years ago is an early single address line '47 gun. This poor gal shows the years and has seen plenty of holster time and who knows how many rounds.
The front site appears to have been a brass call bead of some sort along with a low shallow rear blade.
My question is: Could this be how it left the factory? Did Smith ship anything other than ramp and Patridge front sights on these early post war guns? Serial k17xxx
Thanks
