I have a s&w 45 Hand Ejector Model 1917 Commerical which was Shipped from from s&w Factory on Dec. 22, 1931,Mfg.in 1929, w/5 1/2 barrel.it was purchased for the Tacoma, WA police Dept. They sent it back to S&W in June 1962 to have it Nickle Plated & to have an additional 45 long colt cylinder made for it,it has the 45 ACP cylinder with half moon clips, & Walnut grips can anyone tell me what it should sell for?

Welcome to the Forum.
Price is subject to condition and your location. California guns tend to sell for more than other parts of the country.
Obviously, your revolver would be worth more if you had both cylinders.
My guess would be $400 on the low end to about $650 tops.

I do have both cylinders the 45 Long Colt was made by S&W in 1962.

Well, that does change things a mite. Having both cylinders, plus the police connection, adds to the value.
