I have a little more information. The swing out cylinder has 360xx compared to 5451xx on the bottom of the butt. The arm also has (H) (&) (5)
the letter h the and sign and the number 5.
Does this help anyone tell me about the engraving. Thanks Guy
Guy - the number on the butt is the serial number. All the other numbers are assembly and inspector markings. IMO, the engraving is not factory. The hammer and trigger have been plated outside of the factory - they should be case hardened. Can you show another picture of the engraving with the grips off?
The stippling in the engraved areas looks a lot like Terry Brady of Richmond, IN. I've never seen any of his work with plated hammer/trigger. Its just the style, who can be duplicated by anyone.
