Picked up a Model 22 in a great deal and have a question or 2 about and hope someone can answer them.

Left side of barrel sez 45 cal. model 1950

Inside there is no model number which suggests it was made prior to 1957, but I don't think so.

Serial is DBB64XX and I can't find any reference to this DBB serial.

This pistol looks virtually new, has a small cylinder line, I would rate this pistol 98 +/-%

I will post some pix later when I get home.

Any help is appreciated

I think you have yourself a Md 22-4 reintroduction gun that was made in about 2005. Enjoy.

I believe your right, bravastar1. I found the inspection tag on the case envelope and it is dated Aug. 2007.

It is a beauty. Will post pix shortly
