Hi gents,
I don't frequent this classic section often, but figured this was the place to get some info.
I know there are Colt enthusiests here. I found a Colt Shooting Master in 44 special, guessing 70%, not abuse, but target use. How much $$ loss for the non-original stocks it's currently wearing? Are original grips available for less than a fortune ? Doing a group buy of 5 guns and this is the one to be eventually turned over, and don't want to get too heavy $$ into it where I can't recoup my money. Thanks for the assistance.
Sorry, but didn't have my camera with. It is the square butt frame. Lets assume the current grips have no valve= they are nothing special.
To clarify, an older Bluebook lists this revolver at $3000 for 70% condition.
As an example= To CMA on condition variences and the non-original grips, I value it at 2000 in the deal, and then find the grips made it only worth 1500.
I don't want to screw myself unintentionally
