Looking at "FJESTAD's Blue Book, the Brazzi's are listed at ridiculous prices. 95 % $1,075.......90% $875. This is ludicrous.
We know those prices are not right, "BUT", it means that every Brazzi at the next Phoenix Gun Show will have a price tag of $1,000.00 or more. When will it all end?????????

There was a thread about this not too long ago. Everyone was a little baffled about the Blue Book prices, which seemed to be more in line with WWI M1917 prices, not Brazilian Contracts.
Maybe the authors were guessing that prices would go that high by the time the book hit the street?

just a thought, how many 90% or above brazilians have you seen? most were all nicked and dinged up for some reason. i would think that someone who collect pristine guns would pay more for a harder grade of revolver.

I agree. I have only seen s small number of 90% plus ones. I suspect that they would go for close to what the Blue Book states.

The problem you run into seems to be a bunch of folks that are really bad at guessing condition. The vast majority of 1937 Contract guns I've seen are 50% or lower. But what invariably happens is the proud owner of one that was shipped back in a barrel full of seawater and other guns feels his pride and joy is now suddenly 90%. Thats where the problem comes in. Honest to God 90% or better guns are probably worth the $1000. The one in average condition, maybe $500 these days.
