What are they going for, or estimated value- with the holder?

I would like to get one, with the holder for my shaving collection.

I saw one on...of all places...fleabay...but no holder.

Which Model Blade Saver are you seeking? Models 1 or 3 are the most common and usually run about $40 - $60 in good condition. Model 2 is very seldom seen and will bring $100 & up. All these prices are w/o the ivory colored plastic holder. Those are seldom seen and even rarer is the red cardboard box that ten Blade Savers, in their holders, came in. A set of three, with holders, if found, will bring several hundred dollars. The best place to find these is at the annual meeting & gun show of the S&W Colectors Assoc.

Andy Griffith,
I purchased the remaining Blade Savers that were removed from the basement storage (the story I was told) of S&W in the 1950's. The number II's were stored on the bottom of the pile after being pulled from production. They must have suffered water damage by the looks of what was left. This may explain why a fewer number of the II's are around. The I's and III's are in various conditions. There are some in the white, some without yet having the rivet being held together with a knurled nut and screw. Some of these are all blued without the gold lettering and others near perfect. I need to shoot some pics and post them. I have no need for this great number. Almost forgot where I stored them until recently when I moved.

I was just asking to see...

I just want one to have one. Doesn't matter which one- so long as it is complete. I certainly wouldn't mind having one in less than perfect condition...as it will go with my "shaving kit" display. I'm not going to start collecting these- I promise!
