Trying to find the value on this one for my father who wants to sell it. I told him maybe a $1000 but it it obviously refinished. Note the serial is very close to the lowest known.

I bought two virtually identical guns last year at $425 and $650. I think getting $1,000 for this gun would be difficult. Maybe not impossible... nothing is impossible... but I think $500-$600 is a more realistic range.

The refinishing really hurts value. Especially a poor nickel plating job where the hammer and trigger get plated (like I said, mine were the same way).

The stocks might be original and that would add a few dollars.

I am with SaxonPig on values, and I may be interested in purchasing when you decide on a value.

Good Luck

I am told the grips are real nice but I have only seen the picture. I have told my dad the grips are worth a couple hundred and that shocked him. He is going to ask $650 and see if that gets any action. He is cleaning out stuff, when you get to be 80 you think about not hoarding stuff. He does report nice tight action and bore.
