My question-
My friend just bought a .38 Military and Police "Victory" Model. Some confusion exists when reading the SC of S&W. The book lists the caliber as ".38 S&W Special." Is the gun chambered for .38 S&W or .38 Special?
Many thanks--

Look on tho side of the barrel. The caliber will be stamped there, either .38S&W ctg. or .38 S&W Special ctg. The guns were made in both calibers.
