I never been on this part of the forum.
But could someone tell me, what does hand ejector mean, and what is the difference between them and more modern revolvers, besides just the name?

A swing-out cylinder, with an ejector rod you push by HAND. Top-breaks ejected automatically when opened.

Several models were named "Hand Ejector", because they were.
It also applies as a general term for a TYPE of revolver now. A 500 magnum is a Hand Ejector.
