1946-1960 included serial numbers 536685-712953... yours falls in there somewhere... best I can guess is early 1950's

It was probably from late 1953 or 1954/1955. I have a pre-Model 30 .32 Hand Ejector, Modified "I" frame, 5 screw with round sight that lettered to December 1952, serial No.5957XX. It does not have the flat latch or the "ramped" sight that yours possibly does so it is right before the mods. Does yours have the small round trigger guard or the elongated one? Is yours an "I" frame or a "J" frame? Hope this helps locate the date of your gun. T44

Thanks you both for taking the time to reply.

My .32 does have the screw up high on the sideplate - but there isn't one on the front of the trigger guard. I would describe the front sight as ramped, it's similiar to a modern 36. The trigger guard is elongated - like a modern 34 kit gun. Sorry, I don't know an I frame from a J.
