The Thursday before Thanksgiving, one of my local former dealers asked me if I was interested in a Triplelock. I immediatly said yes, I waited anxiously until the holiday had passed and went out Monday to see it. He didn't bring it to the shop. I made arraingments to go out on Thursday. I got there and waited with excitement, he brought out the gun case and opened it up and I found myself looking at a 6 1/2 inch Nickel 2nd Model HE in .44 special 278XX. MFD 1926

It wasn't a Triplelock, but it was still a nice old S&W.the nickel is spotty in some places but it locks up tigh as brand new the bore is bright and shiney. My excitement is just as high so I made out good. I told him if does come up with a Triplelock i will take that too.
