Hi fellas. i know you guys get this sort of thing all the time but I gotta ask anyway. I recently purchased a m1917 at a local shop. It has all matching serial numbers on the frame, cylinder, under the barrel, and penciled on the grips. I would say the blue, and it is actual blue, is around 80-85%. It has inspectors stampings of s1 and s2, ( an unknown inspector of 1917's in 1918) with eagles head in all the proper places. Flaming bomb on the frame above stocks and of course marked US property . Serial number 598xx dating it as 1918 year of manufacture. This gun is super super tight and the bore is dang near pristine. What would be too much to pay? Honestly I have $550 in the thing. And what could i resell it for if i had to?
