Prices climb as we sleep. Also as we type these posts. At the OGCA show last weekend I found Lee's booth. Of course he wasn't anywhere near it, but under his protective glass was a mid range production Outdoorsman (he had it listed as early production)
..... And I believe he had it priced at $2395. Yes, it had a fairly nice box with it.
These days red picture boxes bring well over $200. But if you add one to a gun, the package escalates in price by a significant margin.
I'm afraid the days of $25 red boxes and $20 gold are over forever. So are the days of prewar K22s selling for $500, or even $1000 if still in nice condition. The market is changing and the rules you thought you knew just don't apply anymore.
