Hey all I just found a 38 lemon squeezer 5th change. Question whats the best way to clean up scratches in the nickel that don't go through to bear metal? what kind of value would you put on it? 3 1/4" barrel

How about some Flitz, Mothers or semichrome polish? Applied gently and buffed with a soft cloth you should see most of those scratches fade.
I went and checked my copy of SCSW#3 and it puts a value of $400 for EXC condidtion $500 for EXC+. I wouldn't want to hazard a guess as to the actual market value as I am not familiar with it. Looks like a nice gun.

Mother's Magcream with a WHITE Scotch-brite pad does wonders for scratched nickel. The combination really works.
