Hi im looking for one of them S&W revolver STOCKs that Attach to the SA S&W 3rd model Russian revolvers 44 russian caliber.
I have a S&W NM #3 thats Stocked but that stock is diffrent than the 3rd Russian model as the grips are diffrent.
A ****** one in need of repairs would be fine or even just the Metal parts.
I know its a long shot but i got my Schofield by asking here!

Try David Carroll. he usually has various shoulder stocks for No. 3s, off and on.

Dinguss, a 2nd/3rd Russian stock will be VERY tough to find and VERY expensive. Even the European made copies (I have the impression there are period copies & more recent copies) are tough to find & expensive.

A possible alternative -- if I recall correctly, stocks for New Model #3's are very close & will "about" fit on a 2nd or 3rd Russian, at least well enough for display purposes or casual plinking. Again, iirc, there is a slight wobble in the lock-up, and a slightly more downward angle (more "drop", I guess, in shotgun stock terms) when a NM3 stock is used on a 2nd/3rd Russ.

NM3 stocks are much easier to find than Russians - my impression is that a large stash of them was found in the factory in the 1960's or 70's or so, and sold off to collectors, new in box. Last I checked, they could sometimes be picked up as low as $1,000 with careful shopping - pricey, but still significantly less than a Russian stock.

Dinguss, I am very late to this post but try VTI Gunparts on the web. I have reaed where the stocks for the Uberti repro of the S & W 3rd Model Russian are a good fit to the originals as well.

EDIT*I checked but i think your Talking about GRIPS not the short carbine type wood and metal stock that attaches to some of the S&W Russian revolvers.

My apologies. The term "stocks" is often [in older times for sure] actually/supposedly the proper term for what we call "grips".
