Update: ’47 Birth Year M&P “project”
Again, thanks to Tom M for selling me the M&P, and a BIG thanks to BlackAgnes (Tim) who gave me the diamond magnas to finish the project.
…and like all the symptoms of the S&W collecting “sickness”, this first B.Y. revo needs some company. I now want to find a ’47 M&P 2” RB .38 Spec to be followed by a 4” .22 lr. I am patient. -Bill

Bill,
That's a real sweetheart! It looks like it's made of glass in your photo. I love those old M&P's and will look forward to seeing more '47 guns come your way.
Thanks,
Jerry

Thanks all, wc - I'm using a Nikon D40x. The key is the #4602 Tiltall tripod I bought in L.A. in 1969.
