Good looking revolver! Apparently the 2-inch Model 10s were the last ones to feature barrels with the half-moon front sight, a very classy feature.

Looking good.
I seem to remember that our (army aviators) 4" no dash M10s had half moon sights in the 70s and 80s. I wonder what happened to all of them?

Since the change from the round to ramp sight occurred in 1952 there is an excellent chance it was re-barrelled at some time with an early 2".

Apparently the supplies of 2-inch barrels with half-moon sights remaining in the parts bins lasted until 1960. This one make the third I've seen from that year.
