64 picture thread
Hi, guys and gals I am going to pick up my 4" model 64 next week. To tide me over please show me some of your model 64's. Plus I have not seen a model 64 picture thread in several years.

That is awsome. Great pictures guys! Who is carrying them as CCW pieces? I have a 4" on the way that I will be using for a CCW along with my model 15....I am starting to appreciate the 38 special round. It is a whole lot better than people give it credit for.

Not a very good photo, but here's a 64-3 I bought in the late 1970s and relied on for many years.

Hello.
Here's a Model 64-3 4" HB with a pinned barrel.
This Model 64-3 3" does not have a pinned barrel.
Best.

I carried the 2" pictured earlier all one summer in a Mika pocket holster. Still carry it appendix IWB sometimes.

Stephen A. Camp,
Your photos of guns are second to none. I love how they seem to be floating over the tiles. Thanks for posting those.

64-2
One more won't hurt, 64-2 with some of VM's refinished grips.

Hello, mjr. The photo technique is extremely complicated; actually, it is not but you sure want to KNOW that the balance is right. Those "floating" guns are actually sitting atop three 12-ga. shotgun shells which are hidden by the gun.
panamajack310: I frequently carry a Model 64 on my person, but usually it is a 4" HB with round butt with a bobbed hammer spur and DAO.
I bought this one "pre-owned" from a fellow who bought it "pre-owned". It is a peach to shoot and its action is slicker than the proverbial "gut".
That Model 64 makes it easy to "put the medicine where the pain is".
Best.

How about round butt with a tapered barrel? I sent this 64-5 to the factory to have them install a tapered barrel that I bought on this site.
One of my favorite revolvers.

Here's my 4" Model 64-6. I find myself shooting it more than any others when I get to the range.
Some day I'll get pictures of my 2" Model 64-6.

Your 64 looks COOL! I used to check out J&G quite often. Most of the time they had DAO guns with bobbed hammers. Not for me. And when they were advertising .22's at the low price of $79.95, haven't looked at their site since. Bob

I've got two.
This pencil barrel 64 that looks to be virtually unfired
and this 64-2 snubbie that I bought my wife for her 22nd birthday almost 30 years ago.
She still has the gun, and I still have her
