I'm new here and I've gotten out my old guns lately and started shooting again. I have a question that I should know the answer to but I don't.
I have a S&W model 14-3 revolver, 6" barrel. I'm wanting to get laser grips for it so my wife can use it for home defense.
Anyway, I need to know how to tell if it is square or round butt. Any help is appreciated.

Welcome. spend the $200 you are going to drop on the laser grips on ammo and get her shooting. Familiarity with the weapon is much more likely to save her life than gizmo's.

While I agree I want to do what makes her comfortable with it. bought her 1000 rounds and we are going to the range together every weekend. Will keep it up until she is comfortable with both.
