Default Model 29

Price advice for model 29-2, 4" from late 1970s, nickel, mint condition, target hammer, trigger, sights? Has been fired a few times.

Plus one for toroflow 1. A nickel four inch 29 is just too cool!

I have found one that is absolutely gorgeous, but the price is higher than you two suggested. Doesn't look like it's too easy to find 44 mag ammo at the moment either.

Default 4" 29-2

Are you wanting a nickel gun? I know where there is a blue 4" no box papers would be mint but for one spot of blue missing on the cylinder and minimal holster wear for $650. Same guy also has an ANIB 4" gun with presentation case and all doc's and tools for $850.

Don't know about nickel, but I just picked up this like-new, looked un-fired blue 4" 29-2 with smooth targets (no box), for $599 OTD. I had always wanted a 4", since Elmer Keith spoke so highly of them. You will notice that there isn't even a turn-line between the cylinder notches :

Thanks for the replies. At the moment I am torn between a 10-5 5" blue and the 29-2 4" nickel I mentioned on here. Both are mint.

Talking

Between the two models you mentioned it would be no contest for me that shiny Nickel 29-2 would be coming home with me. I don't have a Nickel 4 inch 29-2 but I have a Nickel 6.5 inch and a Nickel 6 inch both 29-2's. I never owned a Nickel gun before this year and now they are a favorite of mine.

Nickel 29-2 with 6.5 barrel

Nickel 29-2 6 inch
