Default 19-1 Nickel

Here is K484886 a nickel 19-1 that I picked up recently. I'll include pictures of the standard -1 indicators, in particular, the L on the cylinder face, cut on ejector rod tip, -1 yoke stamp, etc. This is a nice example of one of the harder to find -1 models in nickel finish with smooth GA targets. Roy is out of the loop right now so I'll only guess at a shipping date of 1962.
Enjoy
Chuck

Thumbs up K300,000 & K400,000 Serial Ranges

There were some wonderfully mysterious guns built in this serial range....

Thanks for the super sharp snapshots of a difficult to photograph, but fascinating subject....

Very nice 19-1 Chuck. I think 19-1s are more scarce than 29-1s.

Drew, I don't think I'll ever have the time to catch up the posting count I lost with the forum changeover so I won't even try. Guess the new motto for me is quality and not quantity.

Well Mi Amigo, with your passle of fine Smiths that shouldn't be too much of a challenge....

Thanks for taking the time and trouble to put up the wonderful snapshots of a very fine Combat Magnum.

Wow! That can't be the same "80%-85%" gun. You obviously found a diamond in the rough. It is beautiful. Congratulations!

Are we gonna hug and kiss now? Get a room.

Chuck, the Model 19 is an heirloom gun. It combines the best character's of the N and K frame. Hard gun to collect. I waited years for the right Pre 19. Nice gun.

Very nice gun and pics! I also love the look of a finely nickeled Model 19, and fell for this one a few years ago when I found it at a gun show. This is a Model 19-3, made in 1976.

Chuck,

I'm not really a nickel guy, but by golly, that there is a nice looking revolver!

I really like it!

Thanks for sharing,
