I like the looks of both. I keep targets on my 3 1/2" 27-2, as I think it fits well with the target trigger/hammer.

No one is a bigger purist than me, even SP, but this pre-27 3.5"" with original Ropers does have something going for it...just saying...

Default Case for a 3 1/2" 27

S&W not only put target grips on the 3 1/2" 27-2 but they made a case that will fit this gun only!

And "NO" i don't have any extra 3 1/2" cases!
