What is a good price on a Model 19-3 with a factory refinish. I say the the gun is about 97% on the refinish. Locks up tight and timing is good.
Probably could use a new set of grips.
I was lucky to get it. It has no bluing loss anywhere, locks up like a new gun - it has been fired very little if at all. The dealer wanted $550, and he could have got it, too. He went down for me 'cause I buy a lot of guns.
BTW - I saw a non-P&R 19 priced at $699 just across the border. Model 19's are pricey.
Here in NC I would say $450-500. It's not a collector's piece so I don't think the reblue affects the value at all. It might actually be more valuable to have it in better condition after the reblue.
I paid $600 for a clean no dash 19 early this year. There are so many combat magnums out there that they don't fetch really high prices yet, although that may change. The exception is some of of the rarer models like the 3" 66, etc.
