Rosewood Grips
Well, VM has done it again. I sent him a ragged set of Rosewood smooth target grips to refinish. They came back in Beautiful condition. I mounted them on my Nickle 586 no dash and couldn't be more pleased. See the attached photos.
Thanks Mike

These turned out to be the nicest grips I have. They really set off the Nickel on the 586. They looked pretty gnarwly before VM reworked them. There was a noticable knot hole on the right hand grip, but it closed up when VM soaked the grips in acetone to strip off the old finish. There is no stain, the wood is naturally that dark. I'm a happy camper.

I was fortunate enough to get a set of Rosewood stocks from Mike, very nice indeed. My only complaint is that I haven't a suitable revolver to put them on! I would love to find a brushed nickle K frame 4" for them, maybe someday.
