Looks real nice. I am trying valiantly to ignore those horn grips, but it ain't gittin' any easier.

It's only about a 45 minute drive and I am gittin' weak.

Hi Iggy.Dealing with Colt was a painful experience as I had documented earlier here but the job did come out perfectly so it was worth the heartburn. After seeing Patrick's work I knew he would make the perfect grips and he didn't disappoint.I am happy I got my Christmas present to me today and I hope that my Instructor is in Heaven Smiling.

Definitely looks like it was worth the heartburn with Colt. Executioner does a fantastic job on his grips too. I have two sets of his grips and am thinking of buying another pair for another of my guns, but I don't know which one yet.

Yes Decisions,Decisions,LOL.Had set #2 already picked for my 640 but my wife Ginny interviened. She knew I had 3 Sportsman Guide Visa discount certificates and a 10 dollar off coupon for order over 100 dollars so she went to the site, put in "J Frame Stag Grips" and a pair of Ajax ones popped up.Add in the discount certificates and the 150 purchase price turned out @ 100 dollars. They aren't Patrick's but for that price I can't be difficult....Mike

Guess what?It looks good but the light strikes continue.Range testing showed alot of light strikes and when I went to look at the hammer I noticed they just reblued the old firing pin on it.Looks like back to Colt for round 2 and I might see it again in the next year......Mike
