I sent my loose and aging Model 19-3 and 28-2 to S&W at the end of November. They both had seen a lot of use at the PD, duty carry, pistol leauge, Reserves training, then my shooting after buying them. I got the news from the repair dept on 12/9. On the 19. Trigger, rear sight, hammer block, rebound slide Cylinder stop, hand. On the 28. Hammer, hand, cyl stop, turn barrel, remill eroded forcing cone, fix b/c gap.
I was told that they could be expected back in February. They were at my door before new years & lock up like new. Not too shabby, two guns that shoot like new for $240 and back over a month before promised.
