I bought a model 10 snub with square butt. I'm curious if the square butt and round butt versions were offered at the same time or if they had date ranges when each was offered. I haven't found any information about this yet.
I was actually looking for RB but this SB came along and the price and condition were too good to pass up, so... you know how it goes. Model 10 snubs in mint condition don't seem to be all that easy to find. I have seen two RB that I waited too long on and they sold. I wasn't about to let that happen again with this SB. This one has only been shot a few times, it has one small "rub" in the bluing on one of the edges - not too bad for a forty year old revolver I guess. Otherwise it is pristine and has box and such.
I am a shooter, and I traded my RB for a SB, no regrets, that and my SB m.15 snub are pretty deadly, have competed on out to 25 yards, any lack of results cannot be blamed on the snubs... ...put a Tyler tee on, and you are good to go.
