Default What do we have here?

I have a retired corrections officer friend that has an unfired "Silver Anniversary" 38 with a two inch barrel. It is unfired, nickel plated stamped with a Silver Anniversary CCPOA and all original. The box that it came in says it is a Model 64-2. The stamp on the frame says Mod 10-7. What do you think this really is and what is it worth? He has an offer of $500 and I think it is probably worth more. Sorry I do not have any photos yet. The box says it was manufactured in 1979. Thanks, Ken

The M10-7 was made in 1977 and is a blued or nickle gun.
The M64 is a stainless steel gun, so I think the box is wrong.
From the information you gave I don't believe it's worth $500.

Looking for one like yours. I had one but had to sell it, long time ago. Now retired from CDC and would like to buy one. Do you still have this ?

This is a ten year old post. I would send a PM to windypoint & see if his friend the corrections officer still has this revolver.
