Default price check

saw this 19-3 for sale with a price tag of $619...had a box but not numbered to the gun and an unopened cleaning kit...
It was a correct box for the gun but did not have the sticker on the end....gun looked to be in excellent condition. S# dates gun to 1970
Is $619 too muck?
What would be a fair price?

I'd guess about $100 high, even if NIB. Interested tosee what others think.

The model 19 has a major cyl. turn line, and looks to either have some holster wear,or glare on the picture.I would think $400,$425tops.

One often sees non-pristine guns selling for super-pristine prices and this is an example. It looks like a good honest 19 with correct grips that somebody rounded up a box for. Maybe $500 if one relly wanted it but I'd tend to agree with S&W Keeper. Keep looking and you will do better.

I agree with the other post. I think I would let it slide. There are plenty of model 19's out there. Don
