guys,
i have a 15-2 and 640. they say 38 s and w special on barrel
will they handle plus p ammo

TM;

The factory has sent mixed messages on this by stating any model-marked gun is OK for + P, then producing later guns stamped ".38 SPL + P". The consensus is both are perfectly fine for unlimited + P, or as many as you can afford to shoot (the last part is my editorial comment about ammo prices) .
