My gunsmith has an unusual model 48-2.
It is nickel with an 8 3/8 barrel. It has smooth target grips, a presentation case, easy 98% revolver.
There is a blue 22 LR cylinder in the case.
The gun dates to 1970, several years after the intro of the 48-3.
There is a factory refinish star on the cylinder. On the grip frame is "C" in a circle, an "E" in a triangle, and "R N" in a square.
Serial is 1K69XXX. Whats this worth retail? Regards 18DAI.
